The family-friendly New Year’s Eve celebration at The DoSeum allows children to ring in 2026 early with play, laughter, and festive fun.
SAN ANTONIO — Once upon a time, as the year 2025 was getting ready to say goodbye, something exciting was happening at The DoSeum. The kids decided they didn’t want to wait until midnight to celebrate the New Year, and The DoSeum agreed.
On Wednesday, Dec. 31, families are invited to a joyful Kids Countdown to the Noon Year, where the fun begins at 10 a.m. Music fills the air, kids dance and laugh, faces turn colorful with paint, and the museum buzzes with play and discovery. Everyone explores, snacks, and celebrates together as the clock slowly marches toward the most exciting moment of the day.
When noon arrives, the countdown begins and suddenly, balloons tumble from above in a high-energy balloon drop made just for kids. Cheers fill the room as children ring in 2026 early, full of excitement and smiles, and still make it home before bedtime.
The celebration wraps up at 1 p.m., leaving families with happy memories, tired feet, and the perfect start to the New Year—all at The DoSeum in San Antonio. The DoSeum is located at 2800 Broadway.
