SAN ANTONIO — If you are looking for ways to commemorate Black History Month in San Antonio, we have compiled a list of Black-owned local restaurants to visit.
Black History Month is a time for reflection, education and a nationwide celebration of the contributions and legacy of African American culture.
This year’s theme is “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” marking the 100th anniversary of the inaugural Negro History Week established by Dr. Carter G. Woodson in 1926.
To celebrate, KENS 5 compiled a list of Black-owned restaurants, food trucks and catering services in San Antonio. This list is a work in progress, so if you know any other restaurants we have missed, please email news@kens5.com.
