SAN ANTONIO — An award-winning Halloween pop-up bar has appeared in the downtown depths of the Alamo City.
The Black Lagoon can be found inside the Three Star Bar, located at 521 E Grayson Street, until November 2. The bar features creepy decorations and a crafted menu featuring Halloween-inspired cocktails.
“We’re so excited to be back for another sinisterly fun year with our Black Lagoon Halloween bar pop-up,” says co-founder Kelsey Ramage. “With new cities, more venues, and an entirely new menu of spooky-season cocktails, this year is sure to be the best one yet.”
The Black Lagoon was born in 2019 at The Dungeon, a cult-favorite bar in New Orleans by founders Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage. It officially launched as a pop-up bar in 2021 and now continues to move through major cities in the U.S. and Canada, expanding to 39 locations for the 2025 Halloween season.
“When we started Black Lagoon five years ago, we never imagined it would grow to become such a widely beloved Halloween tradition,” says co-founder Erin Hayes. “Over the years, we’ve had the chance to collaborate with some of the most incredible bars and bartenders in amazing cities. We’re proud to have maintained those relationships and excited to have formed new ones along the way.”
The San Antonio location also hosts Nigh Markets with vendors selling all things spooky from t-shirts, keychains, paintings and more. The next market is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 23 from 8 p.m. to midnight.
