BLANCO COUNTY, Texas — Officials in Blanco County believe recent brush fires in the southwestern portion of the county may have been intentionally lit.
Blanco County ESD 2 fire crews have responded to multiple vegetation fires recently, according to the Blanco County Fire Marshal.
“This is an active investigation by the Blanco County Fire Marshal’s Office, and we are requesting the public to be diligent and if you see any suspicious activity, please immediately call 911,” Fire Marshal Matt McMain said on Tuesday.
A burn ban remains in effect for Blanco County until Jan. 13.
