Officials have not yet released the man’s identity or the cause of death.
SCHERTZ, Texas — The Schertz Police Department is investigating after a body was found inside an abandoned vehicle in a field Tuesday afternoon.
Police said they were notified of an abandoned vehicle near the 500 block of Linda Lee Lane and Pecan Grove Drive around 1:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a dead man inside the vehicle.
Investigators believe he was in his early to mid-70s but officials have not yet released the man’s identity or the cause of death.
