Authorities found Agusto Gutierrez’s car lodged under a bridge in the drainage system.
SAN ANTONIO — Authorities found the body of a missing 18-year-old man in Eagle Pass, who may have been swept away by heavy rainfall, officials with Eagle Police Police said Saturday.
Police believe Agusto Gutierrez may have been swept away by the recent rain while he was driving.
Authorities said they later found Gutierrez’s car lodged under a bridge in the drainage system.
Drone units were reportedly searching the area to find Gutierrez. DPS Marine Units, military personnel and officers on foot assisted with the search.
Eagle Pass PD posted on Facebook about the recovery and thanked the multiple agencies who helped with the search efforts.
