Body with gunshot wounds found in Olmos Basin area, SAPD says

Details are few as of now, and the victim hasn’t been identified. Authorities responded around 3:40 p.m.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating after authorities say someone discovered a body with several gunshot wounds on the north side, in the area of Highway 281 and Dick Friedrich Drive. 

Police responded to the area around 3:40 p.m. and are investigating it as a homicide. Authorities haven’t yet identified the victim, but SAPD Sgt. Ryan Edwards added that four shell casings were found nearby. The body was found in a grassy area and had been shot all over their body.
