Boerne ISD postpones Boerne High School graduation due to storms, rescheduling for Friday morning at 9 a.m.
BOERNE, Texas — Boerne ISD announced that graduation for Boerne High School was postponed due to weather.
Thursday, the school district posted on Facebook that ceremonies for Thursday were interrupted by weather. Students were released from the ceremony early.
The district said the graduation ceremony will resume Friday morning at 9 a.m., with students expected to convene at 8:15 a.m.
Huge storms hit San Antonio and the Hill County late Thursday and early Friday morning, bringing heavy rain and lighting to the area. No major damage has been reported, but minor street flooding was observed during the storms.
