Boil water notice lifted for New Braunfels customers; water station to close

Customers’ pressure in the Riverchase Pressure Zone has fallen below 20 psi due to an electrical outage.

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — A boil water notice has been lifted Friday for customers in the New Braunfels area.

The New Braunfels Utilities issued the notice to NBU customers within the Riverchase Pressure Zone Thursday.

Officials say the pressure of the system within this area fell below 20 psi due to an electrical outage. 

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) also opened a water station for folks impacted by the boil water notice, which will close at 11 a.m. Friday.
