
The Boerne Book Festival returns to the Hill Country this Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, featuring author panels and book signings at the Patrick Heath Public Library.
SAN ANTONIO — Booklovers from all around Texas will be heading to the Hill Country this weekend for the Boerne Book Festival.
The annual event returns Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, with a full day of author panels, interviews and book signings at the Patrick Heath Public Library, located at 451 N. Main Street.
From 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., attendees can hear from a lineup of local, regional and national authors, take part in moderated discussions, and meet with the writers for a special book signing.

9:30 a.m. – Les Dames d’Escoffier Panel: The panel features Abby Kurth, Denise Mazal Resnerova and Diana Barrios Treviño. The event will be limited to the first 100 guests.

10:30 a.m. – Interview with Author Bryan Burrough: He will discuss his latest book, “The Gunfighters: How Texas Made the West Wild.”

11:30 a.m. – Interview with Author Stephen Harrigan: Q& A format

12:30 p.m. – Obsessed With Texas Panel: Hosted by the Writers’ League of Texas, featuring Andrew Porter, Hannah Smothers and James Wade

1:30 p.m. – Texas Folklore Society Panel: The panel will feature authors Norma Elia Cantú and Donna Ingham

2:30 p.m. – Kazu Kibuishi Program: A feature presentation by the acclaimed author/illustrator of the “Amulet” books.

3:30 p.m. – Writing to Heal Panel: A discussion with authors James R. Dennis, Cyra Dumitru, Lucy Griffith, Bianca Alyssa Pérez and Scott Semegran
