‘Bounce into Spring’ kicks off packed lineup of events at The Rock at La Cantera in San Antonio

The Rock at La Cantera said it’s ready to welcome San Antonio into spring in a big way.

SAN ANTONIO — The Rock at La Cantera announced it’s rolling out a packed calendar of warm-weather fun, starting with a daylong celebration called “Bounce into Spring” on Sunday, March 8.

According to organizers, the event will feature multiple bounce houses, activations from Spurs Sports Academy, a craft station and the seasonal opening of the splash pad at Frost Plaza. Basketball fans can test their skills during half-court challenges throughout the day, then stick around to watch the Spurs host the Rockets at 7 p.m. on the big screen.

Families looking for a movie night can mark their calendars for Spring Fling Flix at Frost Plaza. The Rock at La Cantera said the outdoor lineup includes “Trolls” on March 12, “Sing” on March 13 and “Zootopia” on March 14, with showtimes beginning at 6 p.m.

Additionally, the rockFit series will continue this spring with themed classes designed to keep guests moving outdoors.

Later in the month, The Rock will once again partner with Bexar County for Egg-stravaganza on Sunday, March 29. In collaboration with Precinct 3 County Commissioner Grant Moody, Frost Plaza will host an Easter egg hunt for children 12 and under, along with face painting and inflatable games. According to organizers, entry and parking are free, with RSVPs encouraged.

The spring lineup continues into April. The Rock will host a Masters Watch Party from April 9 through April 12, followed by a World Cup Trophy Viewing on April 30 as part of the FIFA World Cup 26 Original Trophy Tour.

Music lovers can also catch the return of Rhythm & Beats, the venue’s free DJ series, on March 21.

Spurs fans will get another chance to rally on March 28, when The Rock at La Cantera hosts a watch party for the team’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, complete with the Frost Traveling Fiesta Float, a face painter and a balloon artist.

With splash pads, sports, movies and music all on deck, The Rock at La Cantera said it’s ready to welcome San Antonio into spring in a big way.
