Pinstack is aiming for a strike with another bowling and entertainment center on San Antonio’s Far Northside, but this time the company will build a new location from the ground up. Pinstack is planning its second Alamo City location north of The Rim at 19238 I-10 W., San Antonio, TX 78257, according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The Dallas-based bowling center expects to start construction on the $9.5 million facility in April and finish in February 2024. The Pinstack at the North Rim will be just as big as the 54,000-squre-foot Park North Shopping Center location at 53,360 square-feet. MySA reached out to Pinstack for comment.
The first Pinstack opened at Park North in February 2022. It has 28 vibrant bowling lanes, rock climbing, laser tag, and an arcade area with a VR attraction. Pinstack also has a restaurant with a full bar that has 24 beers on draft, according to its website. Guests who reserve a bowling lane also get lane-side service for food and drinks.
Pinstack will be joining other entertainment centers like Andretti’s, Santiko’s Palladium, and an incoming VR experience called Sandbox VR. This will be Pinstack’s sixth location in Texas with others in Austin, Plano, Allen, and Las Colinas. It appears San Antonio will also be the only Texas city with two Pinstack locations.
