This comes five months after his wife Suzanne Simpson was reported missing. Brad is facing several charges, one being murder.
Simpson’s attorneys and the state are going to meet for a discovery hearing on Wednesday.
This means both sides are going to exchange evidence to prepare their cases.
The last court hearing happened in February. Both sides have been waiting on evidence from the Texas Rangers.
The state says they’ve already given the defense a terabyte of data so far but they have more to hand over.
This is Simpson’s second hearing in 2025. He was first arrested on October 9 after being accused of restraining and assaulting his wife, Suzanne.
After cellphone data and video footage was gathered, Simpson got charged with murder in early November.
Simpson remains in the Bexar County Jail. Wednesday’s meeting will be at the Bexar County Courthouse.
