Brenna Swindell, daughter of former UT, Astros pitcher Greg Swindell, missing out of Austin, police say

AUSTIN, Texas — Brenna Swindell, the daughter of former Texas Longhorn and Houston Astros pitcher Greg Swindell, is missing from Austin, Texas, police confirmed Monday morning.

Austin police said Brenna, 29, was last seen on Thursday, August 22, at Poodies Hilltop Bar in Spicewood Texas around 10:20 p.m. Police said she was with her ex-boyfriend.

According to APD, the two have not been seen since that night and both of their phones have been turned off.

Brenna’s car, a 2022 Kia Carnival, may have been seen in Colorado near Colorado Springs and Denver. It has the Texas license plate VFS 7528.

APD said they are concerned about Brenna’s safety. If you have any information about her whereabouts, you’re asked to call 911 or Austin police at 512-974-5250.

Police described Brenna as 5 feet 10 inches tall and around 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She has tattoos on both her arms.
