GRAPEVINE, Texas — If you happen to see a golf ball flying over a house in Grapevine, don’t worry, it’s not an errant tee shot.

It’s just the neighborhood U.S. Open champion trying to sink a hole-in-one.

Bryson DeChambeau, golf’s national champion and chief content creator, debuted a new TikTok challenge last week: Trying to make a hole-in-one over his house.

We can explain, but first take a look for yourself:

That’s DeChambeau outside his new mansion in Grapevine — located in the Parr Park area, of all places — hitting a wedge off a mat, over a very glassy part of his home. One mishit and something is getting shattered.

Back in June, after DeChambeau won the U.S. Open for a second time, we pulled up an article from LIV Golf’s website about DeChambeau’s new home and the 60-yard golf hole it features. We didn’t think the 60 yards would include a blind shot over his house — although DeChambeau has said he installed an area for hitting balls off the roof of the home.

Credit to DeChambeau, he doesn’t seem fazed by the prospect of shanking a ball into his living room.

Despite a few near-misses, he hasn’t sunk the elusive hole-in-one just yet. On Tuesday, he was on Day 8.
