Bud Light reunites Post Malone, Peyton Manning and Shane Gillis for Super Bowl ad

The beer brand’s new commercial centers on a runaway keg at a wedding.

WASHINGTON — If there’s one thing Bud Light wants viewers to remember this Super Bowl, it’s that no celebration is complete without a keg.

The beer brand revealed new details this week about its Super Bowl LX commercial, bringing back Post Malone, Shane Gillis and Peyton Manning for a second straight year.

The 60-second ad, titled “Keg,” is set at a wedding, where the trio is seen mingling before a Bud Light keg breaks loose and rolls down a steep hill outside the venue. As Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” plays, the entire wedding party tumbles downhill in pursuit of the runaway keg.

While most guests, including the bride, end up covered in dirt and grass, Gillis casually walks down a nearby trail unscathed, retrieves the keg and saves the celebration. The commercial ends with the keg being tapped and drinks flowing, as Manning, Malone and Gillis reunite at the bottom of the hill.

The tv spot marks Manning’s fourth Super Bowl appearance for Bud Light, Malone’s fifth and Gillis’ second.

“Doing a second Super Bowl commercial with Bud Light this year was great. I was glad to hang out with Post and Peyton again for this one,” Gillis said in a statement.

“Nobody does Super Bowl like Bud Light,” Manning said in a statement. “It’s always a good time when Post, Shane and I get together, and this wedding is going to be the can’t-miss event of Super Bowl Sunday.”

Post Malone, who has partnered with Bud Light for nearly a decade, said the reunion was an easy yes. “It’s always a party on set with Bud Light,” he said. “I was stoked to reunite with my boys and return for my fifth Super Bowl commercial.”

The ad is part of a broader Super Bowl push from Bud Light, the NFL’s official beer sponsor. Alongside the commercial, the brand is rolling out a nationwide keg promotion, offering fans 21 and older $60 off a Bud Light keg in honor of the Super Bowl’s 60th anniversary.

Bud Light is also offering $10 off Bud Light pitchers or buckets at participating bars and hosting a series of Super Bowl weekend events, including Bud Light Presents Post Malone & Buddies, an exclusive concert at Fort Mason in San Francisco on Feb. 6.

When is the Super Bowl?
