Burger Boy is cooking up a new location on the far west side

Burger Boy is expanding to San Antonio’s far west side with a new location on Marbach Road and Loop 1604.

SAN ANTONIO — Burger Boy looks to be flipping its next chapter on the city’s far west side.

A state filing shows the San Antonio-based burger chain is planning a new location along Marbach Road near Loop 1604, adding another stop for its late-night loyalists.

The project, listed as “Burger Boy Marbach,” is slated to break ground Feb. 28, 2026, with an estimated completion date of July 31, 2026.

The new restaurant will be located at 2304 Loop 1604 S. It will be 2,410-square-feet with an estimated price tag of $1.1 million, according to the filing.

Mesquite Country Group is listed as the project owner, with Redwood Architects handling the design. While a tenant has not yet been assigned in the documents, the project name and facility listing identify the site as a Burger Boy location.

Burger Boy also posted an Instagram reel in December teasing the new location.

“NEW LOCATION ALERT!! Are you READY for what’s coming? We’re excited to announce our next project: Burger Boy is headed to Marbach & 1604! Big things are cooking…Stay tuned, San Antonio!”

The original Burger Boy location on St. Mary’s Street is still under construction.
