Monarch Fest returns to the San Antonio Zoo this weekend with butterflies, hands-on activities and family fun all included with admission.
SAN ANTONIO — Get ready to flutter into a fun-filled weekend at the zoo! 🦋
San Antonio Zoo is hosting its 11th annual Monarch Fest on March 21 and 22, celebrating monarch butterflies and the role we all play in protecting them.
The two-day festival is packed with hands-on activities, live entertainment and interactive exhibits designed for all ages.
Families can explore education stations, chalk art, seed giveaways (while supplies last) and even chat with animal care specialists about butterflies, lemurs and tortoises.
There’s also music from a live DJ and story time for younger guests.
San Antonio was named the nation’s first Monarch Champion City, and this event is all about continuing that mission in a way that’s fun and easy to take part in.
Monarch Fest is included with zoo admission and free for members, making it a perfect spring outing for the whole family. 🌸🦋
