Car crashes into school bus and injures one student, police say

NOPD said they are still searching for the second suspect.

NEW ORLEANS — A car crashed into a school bus on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Gordon and North Galvez streets.

NOPD said three students were riding the bus at the time of the accident and one was injured. Officers said EMS was refused on the scene and the student was taken to a nearby hospital.

They said two men ran from the scene on foot and one of the men was struck by another car and taken to a nearby hospital. 

NOPD Fifth District officers created a perimeter to search the area for the second suspect. They said they are still searching for the second suspect.
