Car crashes into Vietnamese restaurant Pho Van in North Austin

The vehicle smashed into the entrance of Pho Van, located at 8557 Research Blvd., Unit 120, Austin, TX 78758, around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Austin police confirmed to MySA. Police also said there were no injuries at the scene and that the crash does not appear to be intentional. 

Austin-Travis County EMS told MySA that the driver was evaluated by paramedics but ultimately refused transport to the hospital. The cause of the crash and estimated damages are still under investigation.

A little over two weeks ago on February 13, a driver crashed into the emergency room of St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, killing the driver and injuring at least 10 others.
