
The man was working on his vehicle with it lifted on jacks when it became unstable and fell, trapping him beneath it.
SAN ANTONIO — A man was injured after a car fell off the jacks and landed on top of him while he was working on it on the west side of town, firefighters say.
It happened just before noon on Cape Valley Drive near Horal Street and Marbach Road.
According to first responders, the man in his 30s was working on his car when it slipped off of the unsecured jacks and landed on top of him.
The car fell onto part of his body, trapping him underneath for about five minutes
Hi family members called firefighters for help. He was rescued and taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Officials say it wasn’t clear exactly how the jacks became unstable.
No word on the extent of his injuries.
