Carhartt opened its third Texas store in San Antonio, offering iconic styles at the Alamo Quarry Market.
SAN ANTONIO — A new popular clothing brand opened Thursday in the Alamo City as part of the company’s retail expansion.
Carhartt, known for being “America’s premium family-owned worker brand since 1889,” is located at the Alamo Quarry Market at 7322 Jones Maltsberger Road, Suite 112. The store will provide San Antonians with the brand’s iconic styles and gear for men, women and children.
The shop officially opened its doors on Thursday, Sept. 25, marking it as the third standalone store in the Lone Star State, including Fort Worth and Tyler. This is also the 56th standalone Carhartt store in the United States.
“We are thrilled to add San Antonio to our retail footprint to make Carhartt’s durable and versatile workwear easily available to the region’s workforce,” said Mark Kastner, director of direct-to-consumer store strategy and experience at Carhartt. “We’re excited to expand our retail presence to meet an increased need for gear that supports the lifestyle of people in the Alamo City and celebrates what can be made possible through hard work – both on and off the job site.”
The San Antonio location hired more than 20 employees to work inside the 5,000 square foot retail space. Carhartt will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
And as part of the grand opening celebration, the first 1,000 customers who are members of Carhartt’s Groundbreakers Loyalty Program will receive a free t-shirt.
