
Castle Hills police detained a suspect Friday morning in connection with a West Avenue burglary. Authorities say there is no ongoing threat.
CASTLE HILLS, Texas — Castle Hills police are investigating a burglary-related incident that happened early Friday morning northwest of downtown San Antonio.
According to the Castle Hills Police Department, officers were called to the 6300 block of West Avenue around 7:30 a.m. for reports of a burglary. As part of the initial investigation, detectives reviewed available surveillance footage, which helped identify individuals believed to be involved.
Officers were quickly deployed, and within minutes, one person was detained in connection with the incident, police said.
Investigators believe the individual or individuals involved may be connected to multiple burglary cases in the area. Detectives continue to follow up on additional leads as the investigation remains ongoing.
Police emphasized that there is no known ongoing threat to the public at this time.
