CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Juan Medina, 22, is wanted on a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for involvement in The Nest nightclub shooting that injured two Thursday, according to Corpus Christi Police Department.
A 30-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman were injured with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds after a fight escalated to a shooting in the early morning hours after Christmas Day.
Officers believe Medina and the 30-year-old man injured knew each other and that the shooting was not a random act of violence.
The 37-year-old woman was not involved in the fight, but was hit by the gunfire, according to CCPD.
CCPD officials said Medina’s bond is set at $200,000.
The 22-year-old Hispanic man is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 145 pounds.
