HOUSTON — A beloved hairstylist for the stars has died.
Jesus Guerrero’s death “came very suddenly and unexpectedly,” according to his sister, who created a GoFundMe fundraiser to help the family in the wake of her brother’s death. He was 34.
Guerrero was born and raised by immigrant parents in Houston.
“Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top,” Gris Guerrero, Jesus’ younger sister, said.
Gris said family members were taking his belongings home.
According to reports, Kylie Jenner was helping the family with costs related to Jesus’ funeral.
Jenner and Jesus had become good friends in recent years. According to reports, they started working together in 2019.
Guerrero also worked with Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Demi Moore and other celebrities. His Instagram account was full of photos of stars he styled all over the world. The Houston native had more than 600,000 followers.
Jesus’ cause of death has not been revealed.
