
It’s unclear if any shots were fired as the crowd dispersed but officers say a few minutes later a man showed up to the hospital claiming he’d been shot.
SAN ANTONIO — Chaos at a quinceañera late Saturday night as police say some unruly partygoers got into a fight with security at the event center.
It happened just after 11 p.m. at the Villa Coronado party venue off the 9900 block of Roosevelt Avenue on the south side of town.
Police say when the fight escalated, the security guard pulled out his weapon.
It’s still unclear if any shots were fired as the crowd dispersed but officers say a few minutes later a man showed up to the Baptist Hospital on H 35 & Zarzamora claiming he’d been shot at the venue.
At last check, detectives were still trying to put together all the pieces of this mystery to figure out what happened.
Security is cooperating but police have no other witnesses.
