A child was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after being bitten by a family pet.
SAN ANTONIO — A child was injured after being bitten by a family pet in east Bexar County.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, the incident involved a bite to the left side of the child’s head.
Officials say the injuries are not life-threatening.
Emergency medical crews responded to the scene, and animal control was also called.
Authorities have not released additional details at this time.
