On Thursday, city leaders approved a measure designating Iowa Street in Denver Heights as Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Way.

Several original Tuskegee airmen lived in the very neighborhood which will be designated along Iowa Street between South Cherry Street and South Palmetto Street.
