SAN ANTONIO — The Clark High School girls basketball team made history Saturday night: They won the school’s first basketball state title.
The Cougars defeated DeSoto High School, 42-37, in the Class 6A state championship game.
They are the first team from the area to win the title since Judson in 2019. Arianna Roberson was awarded the Most Valuable Player award.
Clark finished the season with a 34-3 record.
