Summer learning sessions and meal programs face disruptions due to storms in South Texas.
SAN ANTONIO — Some summer learning sessions and summer meal programs are either canceled or delayed Thursday morning after storms moved through the area.
Showers and storms are sweeping through South Texas Thursday morning, bringing potentially damaging wind gusts and hail to the area. This comes after storms also hit the Alamo City early Wednesday morning, and parts of town saw between half an inch and eight-tenths of an inch of rain. The already soaked ground flooded quickly in the early morning hours.
While most schools are out for the summer, the storms did affect some summer learning and summer meal programs.
Take a look at some closures that have been reported to KENS 5. If you are aware of any other closures, please email news@kens5.com.
