A cold front sweeping across the country over the weekend has brought chillier weather to San Antonio, according to the National Weather Service. In fact, it’ll be a relatively cool week, especially in the mornings after several days in the 80s.
“Isolated to scattered showers will be possible near the Rio Grande Plains today,” the National Weather Service tweeted Monday morning, March 18. “Otherwise, conditions will be cool with highs in the upper 50s to middle 60s. The next chance for rain across the entire area will be Wednesday night into Thursday.”

The start of the week will see highs in the low to mid 60s. But by nighttime, things could get pretty chilly. Monday night lows are expected to dip down into the mid 40s in San Antonio, so you’ll need a jack in the morning before you head out to work and school. The rest of the first half of the week will remain relatively sunny and cool, but there are stormy days ahead as the week comes to a close.
“Light shower activity is forecast to continue across southern Texas, as well as scattered rain and mountain snow showers through the Southwest over the next few days as an upper level low meanders over the region,” the National Weather Service wrote in a short range forecast.
