Converse boy at center of Friday AMBER Alert has been found

Around 3:53 a.m. Friday morning, the preteen’s father noticed he was not in his bedroom.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety says an 11-year-old Converse boy considered missing early Friday morning has been found.

The boy’s disappearance sparked an AMBER Alert after officials said his father noticed he wasn’t in his bedroom around 3:53 a.m. Officials had said he was last seen by his parents around 9 p.m. Thursday.

Just before 2 p.m. Friday, state police said the boy had been found and the AMBER Alert discontinued. But they didn’t provide further details.
