
Firefighters tackled an early-morning blaze in Converse, leaving a home severely damaged.
SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters battled an early-morning house fire in Converse on Friday, officials said.
The fire started around 3:45 a.m. on Kitty Hawk Road.
Video from the scene shows the home was badly burned. Witnesses say a nieghbor called 911 when the home caught fire. An elderly couple lives in the home, but they were out of town at the time of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
Fire officials say the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived. There is no word yet on the extent of the damage.
Live Oak and Windcrest fire departments assisted in fighting the fire.
