Cotton Bowl Classic tickets: Prices plummet after Texas A&M lost to Miami

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Cotton Bowl Classic is set to kick off Wednesday night between defending champion Ohio State and the Miami Hurricanes, and it won’t cost you much to go to the game. 

This is a stark contrast to what tickets looked like before Miami upset the Texas A&M Aggies in the first round. When the Aggies were still able to advance, tickets in the upper deck ranged from $400-500. As of Wednesday morning, those tickets were going for under $50. Here is a look at the lowest prices on the secondary market:

The winner of the Cotton Bowl Classic will advance to the next round of the College Football Playoff and face the winner of the Allstate Sugar Bowl, Georgia and Ole Miss. They’ll play at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Ariz.

The Cotton Bowl will start at 6:30 p.m. CT.
