
SAFD was battling an attic fire that has burned through the roof and damaged solar panels on top of a northwest-side home.
SAN ANTONIO — Crews with the San Antonio Fire Department responded to what officials called a “very active” house fire on the city’s northwest side Thursday afternoon.
SAFD says they were battling an attic fire in a two-story home located off the 18700 block of Edwards Edge. Crews had to transition to an exterior defense as the fire began burning through the roof and damaging solar panels on top of the home.
SAFD says the fire is now under control and crews are working to extinguish hot spots.
No injuries have been reported as of now.
