Crime Stoppers needs your help finding murder suspect

Messiah Martinez was a passenger in a vehicle when he was fatally shot by someone in another vehicle on South Frio Street.

SAN ANTONIO — Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in finding the suspect who shot and killed a 16-year-old last week, and injured two more.

Police say that on April 8 at around 7:30 p.m., Messiah Martinez was a passenger inside a vehicle when he was fatally shot by the unknown suspect in another vehicle traveling north on South Frio Street from I-10.

The suspect’s vehicle is a light-colored SUV.

Police say the  injured teens ended up at the Baptist Neighborhood Hospital on Cupples Road in a Lincoln Navigator with bullets holes in it.

16-year-old Messiah Martinez was shot in the stomach and died at the hospital. The other two young men had non-life threatening injuries and were taken to other hospitals.

Crime Stoppers may pay UP TO  $5,000 for information which leads to felony arrests in this crime.
