
Investigators are looking for the suspects responsible for the murder of 38-year-old Israel Uriegas on July 5.
SAN ANTONIO — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance with information leading to the arrest of the suspects responsible for the murder of a San Antonio man in July.
Investigators say in the early morning hours on Saturday, July 5, Israel Uriegas was sitting in his vehicle parked at the Oakstone Apartments located on 2600 NE Loop 410 in the city’s northeast side.
Police said that’s when the 38-year-old was approached by four suspects who demanded his vehicle. One of the suspects shot the victim and all the suspects fled in a black 2014 Kia Soul, according to investigators.
Uriegas was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the suspect vehicle was stolen from the 11000 block of Perrin Beitel Road two days before the deadly shooting and was spotted being driven around.
