Crime Stoppers seeks suspect in La Cantera hit-and-run that injured scooter rider

A 37-year-old woman was traveling on a motor scooter when she was struck by a vehicle, knocking her onto the roadway.

SAN ANTONIO — Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to identify a driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that injured a woman riding a motor scooter near La Cantera Parkway on Dec. 30, 2025. 

According to San Antonio police, the crash happened around 4 p.m. in the 17500 block of La Cantera Parkway. A 37-year-old woman was traveling on a motor scooter when she was struck by a vehicle, knocking her onto the roadway.

The victim suffered injuries as a result of the collision, police said. The driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.

Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a white, late-model SUV. A stock image of a similar vehicle has been released as part of the investigation.

The case is being investigated as a collision involving injury. Police say identifying and locating the driver is key to solving the case.

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to a felony arrest. Tips must be submitted directly to Crime Stoppers to be eligible for a reward.
