If you’re into the DC Universe at all, you’ll love the new offerings at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — As if you needed another reason to go to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, the theme park has upped it’s game on everything from rides to the food. A new part of the park opening during spring break is dedicated to the DC Universe.
We had an opportunity to check out the new rides, Cyborg, Shazam, Tower of Eternity and Metropolis Transit Authority. Cyborg was the one that really had my interest. It lifts you up, while turning and increasing the speed of both and rotating in circles . It gives you that fun feeling in your stomach of driving over a short hill too fast.
The Metropolis Transit Authority ride gives you a great view of the park, from roughly 20′ up in the air, and the Tower of Eternity is a lifted swing ride, which also gives you a great view of the park as it spins and alternately lifts and drops you along the ride.
After you’ve had your fill of rides, or maybe just want to take a break for lunch, the park will surprise you with it’s offering. Each Six Flags location now has an executive chef, not just preparing meals, but giving hard thought and effort to what offerings will be on the menu.
I was given a cheeseburger on a potato roll, that quite honestly didn’t need any condiments. It was absolutely delicious plain. The also offer a Detroit style pizza that would rival many Italian joints, and a salad that would make any finer restaurant sit up and take notice.
