Dallas Cowboys hiring Cardinals O-line coach as new offensive coordinator, WFAA confirms

DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys are hiring Arizona Cardinals offensive line coach Klayton Adams as the team’s new offensive coordinator, WFAA Sports Anchor Joe Trahan confirmed Friday afternoon.

Adams, who has never served as an offensive coordinator in the NFL, is set to join the Cowboys after spending the past two seasons coaching the Cardinals’ offensive line. Before his time in Arizona, he spent four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts from 2019 to 2022, working two years as a tight ends coach and two as an assistant offensive line coach.

The new offensive coordinator joins the Cowboys under first-time head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who will handle play-calling duties this season.
