DALLAS — Brandon Aubrey’s leg is such a weapon on the field for the Dallas Cowboys.
In the middle of the third quarter, Aubrey nailed a 53-yard field goal, his third of the night and 14th of the year from 50-plus. The field goal gave Aubrey the NFL single season record for most field goals made from 50 yards or longer, which was previously held by Houston’s Ka’imi Fairbairn this season (13).
Granted, these two could continue to one-up each other and take the record back-and-forth from each other. But for now, the record belongs to Aubrey.
Brandon Aubrey now has three 50-yard field goals in tonight’s game and 14 total from 50-plus yards in 2024. He passed Houston kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn for the most 50-yarders by any kicker this season and the most in a season in NFL history.

Aubrey also bookended the first half scoring for Dallas with two 58-yard field goals he made look like chip shots.
