DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys have brought back one of their All-Pro defenders just days after dealing another.
DaRon Bland agreed to terms on a four-year, $92 million contract extension that includes $50 million guaranteed, two front office sources confirmed to WFAA. Bland’s average annual salary of $23 million makes him the sixth-highest-paid cornerback in the league.
Bland was named a Pro Bowler and All-Pro during the 2023 season where he led the league in interceptions (9) and pick-sixes (5). Bland has 14 career interceptions, 164 tackles and 27 passes defended in his career. Bland missed most of the 2024 season due to injury.
The Cowboys kick off their season on Thursday, Sept. 4 against the defending Super Bowl champions, Philadelphia Eagles.
