Dallas Mavericks break franchise record for blocks in a single game in Anthony Davis’ debut

DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks posted a single-game franchise record for blocks (18) in their 116-105 win over the Houston Rockets. 

Center Daniel Gafford led the team with six, followed by three apiece from Anthony Davis and P.J. Washington, who both got injured in the game and did not return.

The previous Mavs block record, according to Mavs PR, was 17 against the New Orleans Hornets in 2013.
