Police responded to the shooting in the 800 block of North Lancaster Avenue, where they found the victim unresponsive.
DALLAS — Dallas police are investigating a fatal shooting after a victim was found fatally shot Friday evening, officials say.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were called about a shooting at about 6:30 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of North Lancaster Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found the victim unresponsive. The victim was declared dead. Dallas Fire-Rescue also responded to the scene.
No one is in custody at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
