The Austin Spurs help hand out Thanksgiving meal boxes to families.
SAN ANTONIO — A familiar face will grace your television when the San Antonio Spurs play the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night.
During the Spurs’ recent match against the Warriors, the broadcast company announced that ex-Spur Danny Green will join the FanDuel Sports Network Southwest broadcast as the color analyst for the vacationing Sean Elliott.
Green is not a rookie when it comes to television’s big lights.
He’s been an NBA analyst on ESPN and hosts his popular podcast, “Inside the Green Room.”
Green remains a fan-favorite in San Antonio and continues to help the local community.
AUSTIN SPURS PARTICIPATE IN THE ‘FEED THE FAMILY’ EVENT
The Austin Spurs partnered with the Austin Alpha Foundation for the third annual “Feed the Family,” which handed out 300 Thanksgiving meal boxes to local families at Hutson-Tillotson University.
The boxes contained all the essential items for a holiday meal, including a turkey, stuffing, canned vegetables, cornbread mix, and cranberry sauce. Fans also received free game tickets, and a DJ was on hand to provide music for all to enjoy.
The San Antonio Spurs recently did their part for families by hosting a special holiday dinner at the Frost Bank Center.
