The crash happened on Canal Street about a block from The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation, east of downtown.
HOUSTON — A Harris County Precinct 6 deputy constable has been fired following a deadly crash east of downtown Houston.
A spokesperson for the Precinct 6 Constable’s Office confirmed that Rigo Villeda Vivar has been terminated.
He said Vivar was involved in an accident that killed someone in the other vehicle. It happened on Canal Street, not far from the Original Ninfa’s on Navigation, around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Houston Police Department is handling the investigation. No other details are available at this time.
