Disaster relief coming to Kerrville following deadly floods

KERRVILLE, Texas — Disaster relief is on the way to areas surrounding Kerrville, and in some cities, help has already arrived.

Volunteers from churches can be seen passing out food and clothing to those in need. Meanwhile, dozens of DPS and Coast Guard helicopters have been flying overhead for the past few days. While on the ground, emergency vehicles can be seen driving by. Everyone working hard to help out where they can.

We recently learned former NFL player JJ Watt donated $100,000 to help out a local restaurant, Grape Juice Kerrville, which is feeding the community for free.

Coming up Monday at 4 p.m., we’ll be hearing from the nonprofit Texans On Mission, a group of volunteers who spring into action whenever disaster strikes.
