DALLAS — Jim Schlossnagle lost the College World Series to the Tennessee Volunteers and was asked about his future at Texas A&M when UT’s former head coach, David Pierce, was fired earlier that same day.
The Aggies fanbase was loud and proud online – their guy adamantly rejected on camera any possibility of going to that team.
And then … Tuesday’s talk of the Internet dropped: Jim Schlossnagle accepted the job to become the University of Texas baseball coach – a complete 180-degree shift from his public comments.
The reaction that ensued was … popcorn worthy.
A note to Jim Schlossnagle:
If you’re ever courted for another job while you’re at Texas… don’t say you’re not gonna take the job, unless you’re not gonna take the job. pic.twitter.com/FENiwXlHpe

Schlossnagle will fit right in with the horns. Disgraceful and spineless.
