KERRVILLE, Texas — A dispute over noise at a Kerr County RV park ended with two men shooting each other around lunchtime Thursday, police say.

Kerr County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called out to the RV park in the 2400 block of Goat Creek Road for a report of gunfire.

They say a 38-year-old male confronted his 55-year-old neighbor because of noise coming from the man’s motorcycle. The situation quickly escalated and both men pulled out guns. Both of them are believed to have fired shots and each was hit once.

Both men were treated at the scene for their injuries and taken to San Antonio hospitals for further treatment. Police say there is no ongoing threat to public.

The Kerr County Sheriff’s Office is investigating with the assistance of the Kerrville Police Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety-Texas Rangers, the Ingram Police Department, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department-Game Warden K9 unit, and the San Antonio Police Department.

This is a developing story.
