San Antonio Water System leaders will meet with the community Thursday evening to discuss infrastructure needs, long-term planning, and a potential rate request.
SAN ANTONIO — District 8 residents are invited to take part in a community town hall focused on the future of San Antonio’s water system, including potential rate changes and long-term planning.
The town hall will be held Thursday, February 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the San Antonio Board of Realtors building, located at 9110 I-10, Suite 1.
District 8 City Councilmember Ivalis Meza Gonzalez will be joined by Robert Puente, CEO of the San Antonio Water System, along with Jelynne Jamison, chairwoman of the SAWS Board of Trustees.
Organizers say the meeting will give residents a chance to hear directly from SAWS leadership, ask questions, and learn more about a possible rate request, infrastructure needs, and long-term water planning for the city.
The event is open to District 8 residents and the broader community. Media outlets interested in covering the town hall are encouraged to contact the District 8 Communications Director for additional details.
